Dan Rothschild

Vice President Technology

Dan has been in software development and technology for almost 30 years in a variety of startups and larger organizations.

He has had a long career with intensive exposure in communications systems and financial markets. He worked at US Robotics at the dawn of bulletin boards and AOL when rooms full of modems were required. He helped a startup company, Spectrix, develop infrared based 802.11 communications systems for use in financial exchanges and hospitals. At NMS Communications, he designed and worked on systems deployed in over 25 wireless carriers around the world. An expert in world-wide signaling systems, Dan has presented all over Asia and Europe to developers of telecommunications systems as well. Dan has led teams that have included people in India and Montreal that were integrated with his local teams in the USA. Dan developed the infrastructure for Destra, who developed and sold mutual funds and other financial market products.

Along with development, Dan has always enjoyed bringing products and ideas to market, working closely with the stakeholders of the business to make sure business objectives are met.

Dan has a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois. He has also visited Graceland three times.
